Dallas Private Room #2 Newly Updated

I am now trying to recover my money through Booking and legal assistance, because the property’s de Positive: Nothing. I did not stay because the property was completely different from the description. The only good thing was leaving immediately to protect my safety.... Negative: The listing was misleading and dishonest. It advertised a private room, but when I arrived, several unrelated people (including children) were entering and exiting the house, and it was clear that a family lives there. Renovations were happening without any prior notice, including debris and people working on the property and they were even making a barbecue outside. The room shown in the photos did not match what we saw, and the environment did not feel safe or private at all. The person who received us told us directly that we could leave with no charge, but the host later changed the story and refused to refund anything, even after taking the money weeks before our arrival. The communication was inconsistent, confusing, and full of contradictions. This was the most misleading and uncomfortable experiences I have had after years of using Booking.com... I am now trying to recover my money through Booking and legal assistance, because the property’s description was misleading and the host changed their story multiple times after taking the payment.
